“I would like to know where they are at key times of day - especially at school times and in rush hour (particularly at the traffic lights near the King Teddy pub going on to the Cheltenham Road where the ignorant motorists insist on sitting on the yellow box when the traffic is heavy so no-one can pull out of the side junction!).”

“The only extra patrols in the area is the police car that sits out of view off Longford lane waiting to catch someone doing 35 in a 30 zone or the police officer in the dark at the bus stop with his speed gun waiting to make another fast buck for the police coffers. They always send in their counterparts the friendly community support officer for the real work. Where are they at school start and finish times to fine the regular illegal parkers or to monitor the red light jumpers or amber gamblers or the illegal parking at co-op corner or double parking at Tesco's. You don't see them on foot at night patrolling around the expensive new parks moving the druggies and young alcoholics on. Seems you and me the motorist are still the easy option, a teenager with a bottle of alcopops won't fill the police purse. If the local councillors looked at funding the youth club again a few more nights a week at the local church hall there would'nt be gangs of youths roaming the streets with nothing to do.”

“only 13 comments since 3rd feb?thats nice for house sellers.dont forget to tell future house buyers you live in a police patrol area.it will knock 10 grand off your asking price.longlevens is a large area.so name the roads not just the area.and teenagers in a group on a footpath is not a crime.sto curtain twitching and go out,say hello and meet them.get to know why there are no meeting venues.clubs that shut at 9pm are not worh dressing up for.”
