Santa Dash and Fun Run at Gloucester Park and Pittville Park
IT may have felt as cold as the North Pole, so it was no surprise 25 Father Christmases turned up at Gloucester Park yesterday.
They were ho-ho-hoping to raise awareness and plenty of funds for Diabetes UK with their Santa Dash, a one-mile run in santa suits.

Meanwhile children eagerly counting down to December 25 might have thought Christmas had come early in Cheltenham yesterday.
The sight of more than 200 Santa impersonators young and old running around Pittville Park could have confused youngsters not in the know.
But it was in fact the first ever Santa Fun Run staged by Cheltenham Rotary Sunrise, in aid of Cancer Research UK and the Hop, Skip and Jump charity.
Event spokesman Allan Berry said at least £1,000 had been raised, with the money due to be split between the two charities.
He said: "It went better than we had expected. People got into the spirit of it and came to take part in their numbers." Kathleen and Richard Gull, from Bishop's Cleeve, were among those who got a sweat on as they made their way around the 3km route.
Mrs Gull said: "We enjoy jogging and because this was raising money for charity, we thought we would do it." The run is set to take place next year too.
