School's marathon strikes right note for good cause
STRUMMING his ukulele, 17-year-old Callum Timbrell was preparing to do his part for the Balcarras 24-hour musicathon.
Other pupils joined in with guitars, pianos, drums and – the instrument we are all born with – their voices.
It was organised by the Charlton Kings school's thriving music department.
Pupils started at 9am yesterday and the challenge was due to be coming to a finish this morning.
