Scouts learn how to stay safe at council's SkillZONE
CUBS and scouts from the 1st Sevenhampton Group became the first paying visitors to the county council SkillZONE scheme in Tuffley on Saturday.
The county council-run scheme is a state-of-the-art educational centre for the public to learn how to deal with dangerous situations.
The centre recreates a village setting and gave the cubs and scouts the chance to visit 16 different situations, including on the road, in the water or at home.
Manned by volunteers, the SkillZONE opened its doors for the first time on September 17.
