Scouts have £100 advertising boards pinched in Churchdown
YOUNG Sherlock Holmes has been drafted in to solve the mystery of missing signs advertising a Churchdown variety show.
Posters, billboards and banners around the parish, showcased the latest performance by scouts and guides, which includes a Sherlock Holmes sketch.

But the signs have been stolen and organisers fear there absence could lead to a slump in ticket sales.

The show, which has been performed since 1983, taked place at Chosen Hill School on October 24 to 27 from 7.30pm.
