Scrooge at Gloucester Guildhall
World famous cheapskate and humbug Ebenezer Scrooge will be taking to the stage in Gloucester.
The Gloucester Operatic and Drama Society is getting ready to perform a festive treat in the form of Scrooge – The Musical.
Director Rowena Davies said: "Preparations are going really well.
"We were short of blokes for a while, but we've found some now, which is great.
"The cast this year is absolutely brilliant. We've even got some old members coming back because this is a show they really wanted to do.
"It's also been nice to see some younger ones come on board."
The show is set to open at the Gloucester Guildhall in Eastgate Street from December 16.
Performances are set to run until Saturday, December 19, with performances at 7.30pm Wednesday to Saturday, and a matinee performance at 2pm on Saturday.
Tickets, priced from £6 to £30 can be bought from the box office by calling 01452 503050.
