The Mayor, Councillor David Brown, commented: "I urge those in the community to think about the individuals who do things for them and put them forward for an award.
"There are so many great people across the City who work tirelessly and selflessly for others and taking just a few minutes to send through a nomination can mean a great amount.
"I am looking forward to sitting down with the judges and going through the nominations. I know it will be a hard but rewarding experience for us all."
