"People say we are a pair so it is very strange not having it around.
"I had just been out to Sainsbury's and usually take my bike around the back of the house and lock it up.
"But I was about to go out again and left it at the front of the house.
"My son phoned the police and my family set up a search party to see if someone had cycled it away and just dumped it. We looked for three hours but couldn't find it but funnily enough we came across the bike's saddlebag in the Millfields area of Hucclecote.
"We went back the next day and found my gloves which were in the basket in the same place where the saddlebag was. It was very odd because they definitely were not there the day before."
The bike was taken between 6pm and 7pm on Saturday, September 1.
"My grandchildren Andrew and William are devastated that I no longer have a bike with which to go cycling because it was something we really enjoyed doing together.
"It is awful that someone decided to take it especially as it is so old and only really of use to me."
The bike is an old Sunbeam make. It is black without a basket but with metal brakes. Anyone with information should call 101.
