Second man arrested in connection with chemical theft
A SECOND man has been arrested in connection to a Whitecroft burglary and the theft of chemicals.
Gloucestershire Police issued a public safety warning to the Forest of Dean community after two drums, one containing hydrochloric acid and one containing sulphuric acid, were stolen from a business in Whitecroft.
Both containers of acid have since been found at a property in Whitecroft and a quantity of potassium cyanide was recovered on Wednesday in Pillowell.
An 18-year-old local man arrested on suspicion of burglary currently remains in police custody under the Explosive Substances Act 1883.

A 14-year-old boy from Whitecroft was arrested on suspicion of burglary and has since been bailed to return to the police station on Sunday, September 16.
Inspector Richard Boyles, said: "We appreciate the support we have received from residents."
