Secret room in Brockworth home reveals cannabis factory
HIDDEN cannabis plants found in a raid on a Brockworth house have led police to arrest a man on suspicion of producing illegal drugs.
Officers raided the Mill Lane address on Friday September 14 and uncovered a number of plants growing in a hidden room behind a secret doorway.
The specific growing room was accessed through a small passageway, hidden behind a hallway mirror.
A 47-year-old Brockworth man was arrested on suspicion of production of cannabis and has been released on police bail until November 20 pending further enquiries.

PC Tom Fletcher, who took part in the raid, said: "The number of cannabis factories discovered nationally in the past year by police has doubled.
"The local policing team at Tewkesbury is driven to disrupting this illegal activity and would like to thank the community for their continued support in helping us to combat drug producers and dealers in the area."
