Selective dorsal rhizotomy surgery: Annabelle's story
BRAVE Annabelle Harrison-Rowles is halfway towards raising the money which could help her walk on her own.
Three-year-old Annabelle needs £55,000 to travel to the US for the life-changing surgery, which will hopefully help her avoid being consigned to a wheelchair for life.

So far the efforts of fundraisers and donors have seen £28,410 pour in, providing light at the end of the tunnel for the toddler, who is from Coombe Hill.
Annabelle has spastic diplegic cerebral palsy after being born 12 weeks prematurely and, without the vital surgery, she will never be able to walk.

Her parents, Tim Harrison and Tarma Rowles, have spearheaded the fundraising campaign.
They did not apply to NHS Gloucestershire for funding because the trust has never paid for the operation.
Tim, 32, said: "Annabelle is a happy little girl, but not being able to walk does stop her doing everything she wants to. If she had this operation and could walk she would be able to join in games with her sister, Minah, and her friends."
Tim and Tarma hope to take Annabelle to St Louis Children's Hospital in Missouri to be operated on by Dr TS Park.
