Sendall is ready to raise game
GLOUCESTER-based martial artist Katie Sendall is preparing for the next stage in her kickboxing career.
Sendall, is stepping up to the K1 level of kickboxing, which involves being kicked in the legs as well as the body.
Her first fight will be on October 20, against Cherly Finn at Liquid nightclub in Gloucester.
Her coach Alan Carter said Sendall is ready to take the next step.

He said: "Katie has been putting in hours of training on a daily basis.
"Alongside her other coaches, Paul Sutherland and Terry Duffas, we really believe she is ready for the challenge"
Sendall said she is looking forward to her new challenge.
"K1 involves being kicked in the legs as well as the body, but the conditioning I have done will hopefully have prepared me for this," she said.
"I train at Gloucester Martial Arts and Trojan Freefighters every day so there is no way I won't be ready to face Flynn."
"I am also studying Brazilian jiu jitsu under the watch-full eye of my coach Chico Mendes."
