GLOUCESTER City Council environmental health officers have been dishing out advice on how to help children have healthier diets.

The council has been helping to run a pilot study in the Eat Better, Start Better campaign, aimed at reducing the number of children who start school life either overweight or obese.

Now council staff have been invited to share their experiences with presentations at the annual meeting of city child minders and an early years event staged in Cheltenham.
