Smith seals Town victory
THE former Football League stars of Clevedon Town proved no match for Cinderford Town at the Causeway on Tuesday night.
Scotland B international Scott Murray, now kitman at former club Bristol City, gave the Seagulls the lead and missed a penalty – and the latter proved decisive.
Lee Smith levelled for the Foresters after a Lewis Sommers flick and the giant Welsh striker headed the hosts into a lead they wouldn't lose late in the first half.
Victory ended a run of four games without a win for Steve Peters' Foresters, who travel to Berkshire to face Didcot Town at the Loop Meadow stadium tomorrow (3pm).
Sunday and Monday evenings £12.00 per head for an all inclusive meal with Indian and Thai cuisine (normal price £14.50).
