“Why isn't Coopers 'Sludge' (Coopers Edge) on this list?

Could it be the overuse of dull beige blocks of apartments and townhouses that dominate the main roads?

Could it be the ridiculously narrow main road running through the estate with the unnecessary bends where at 5pm the place is as congested as many a high streets?

Could it be the way they have packed in the apartments & houses in a confined space with no 'centre' despite acres & acres of space they could have created a real community feel to the place?

Could it be the 'lovely' shed like overlapped wood they've used on some of the properties, bound to look dreadful in a few years time?

Could it be the lack of personal driveways so cars and wheelie bins fight for space on the pavements and communal areas?

Could it be the lack of a pub, a church, any shops that can serve the planned 4,000 house community?

Could it be the shabby landscaping, broken trees, piles of top-soil, damaged kerbs that council adoptation in 5-10 years time will only then get the unsightly mess sorted out?”

“The rad arrow brigade need to look at where the report came from!

This is nothing more than a list of where the Times reporters and researchers would like to live, this is not the real world!”
