Spiffing day at Battle of Britain celebration in Stonehouse
SHOPPERS, traders and families were flying high on Saturday with a Battle of Britain Day.
Businesses and community groups came together and donned uniforms and tea dresses to step back in time.

It followed the successful event organised by Stonehouse Rotary Club to re-launch the opening of Stonehouse High Street last year.
"It was really well supported and a good day for everybody and brought people into Stonehouse," said Derek Hurn, of Hurn's Hardware where staff offered free children's face painting.

There were vintage cars on display, as well as music from King's Stanley band and a children's fancy dress competition.
