CC SERVICE 2 INTER HOP POLE 2

JUNIOR Knock Out Shield holders Inter Hop Pole fought back from 2-0 down to secure a vital Group A point.

Hop Pole went one behind when a Civil Service player slotted the ball past stand-in keeper Lee Surman.

Service were playing the better football and another good move saw civil cut Hop Pole apart and a cross from the right wing was acrobatically steered past the helpless keeper.

In the second half Hop Pole started to create some chances and fought back into the game courtesy of a Nathan Gill penalty.

Surman, who usually plays at left-back then saved a Wayne O'Shea penalty and shortly afterwards Stuart Lewis volleyed the equaliser from a Gary Hill cross.
