Stone me, they're pretty frightening!
SOME scary statues have been chiselled into life as stonemasons carved a piece of history.
As part of the Gloucester History Festival the stone carving tradition was kept alive in The Stonemasons Yard at the city's Cathedral.
-

MOMENTOUS: Stone masons Nazir Clews, Alex Clark, Ronnie Mackenzie, James Bayliss, also below, and Pascal Mychalysin.
The first ever festival of its kind features more than 140 events across the city's most iconic buildings.
Talks are taking place at the recently reopened architectural gem of Blackfriars Priory in Ladybellegate Street.
