Stonehouse firm provides Queen's placemats
A Stonehouse company has been given a Royal boost after providing a set of placemats for the Queen.
Lady Clare Limited, based in the Oldends Lane Industrial Estate, provided 60 bespoke, handmade mats with images of Buckingham Palace on them. They were given to the Queen by the cabinet.
The tablemats were suggested as an appropriate gift by Buckingham Palace, a spokesman for Prime Minister David Cameron said.
The cabinet also made a donation to the Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Trust, set up as part of the celebrations to mark her 60 years on the throne.
