Stonehouse Town Football Club is helping children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 take their first steps into playing football via an Under-7's group, in the capable hands of Ian Neville, who is fully CRB-checked, FA licensed and has been coaching young players for more than 20 years with a fantastic track record. The sessions are great fun and are a perfect introduction to the nation's favourite game.
Sessions are on Saturdays from 10am to 10.45am indoor at Park School and run through to next July, excluding school holidays. Each session costs £2, payable on the day, plus a club joining fee of £5. Our campaign against the building of a large incinerator at Javelin Park has launched a DVD to show the impact it could have on local people and the environment. GlosVAIN compares the proposed incinerator with Blooms garden centre and Gloucester Cathedral to give you an idea of the scale.
