Store staff enjoy a 'moment in time' to honour Paralympians

FROM the bakery to the baked beans aisle, supermarket workers in Stroud stopped work on Monday and proudly donned Paralympic T-shirts.

Staff at the town's Sainsbury's store joined thousands of other workers across the national chain for a "moment in time".

The workers were also throwing their support behind five lucky colleagues from the Stroud store who spent the day at London's Olympic Park.

Manager Neil Barber said: "Our Paralympic events have been two years in the planning and Monday was the culmination of all of that."
