ENFORCEMENT action has been taken over the change of use of a Stroud pub to a cafe and catering facility.

The Stroud District Council confirmed it has issued the notice against the Novalis Trust, owners of the former Halfway House inn.

The trust has relaunched the inn as a training cafe for the special needs pupils at its Cotswold Chine School.

The trust, which has a right of appeal, was unavailable for comment.
