Stroud foodies and top wine merchant get behind Syria fundraiser
FINE wines, cheeses and chocolates helped raise vital cash for victims of atrocities in Syria.
More than £800 was raised for charity Hand in Hand for Syria at The Canteen in Nailsworth on Saturday at a tasting generously supported by Tanners Wine Merchants of Shrewsbury, Godsell's Artisan Cheese from Leonard Stanley, and the town's Sweet Hearts chocolates.

She is collecting humanitarian aid for charity Hand in Hand for Syria and Human Concern, after reading of the Houla massacre earlier this year.
