Stuart Holmes Salon finalist in Love to Shop awards
HAIR salon Stuart Holmes Hair and Beauty Spa will be hoping to pick up two awards in the coming months.
The salon in Imperial Square has been shortlisted for the Echo's Love to Shop awards, which aims to honour businesses in the town.
And being a finalist in the Best Marketing Campaign section of the awards is just one of the successes for the 10-year-old salon.
Sara and Stuart Holmes, the husband-wife team behind the business, considered it an achievement to have made it to the finals of the Love to Shop competition.

"It is great to get recognised for what we do," said Sara.
"Just to be nominated is an achievement by itself.
"Winning anything is great, but it's good to know our work is being recognised by the Echo.
"The awards are great.
"It's very important to us people know the things we do, whether it is through the Echo, or social media, or through our campaigns."
It is not the first award nomination the business has received recently.
Last week it was shortlisted for the Regional Salon of the Year in the Hair Awards in London on March 4.
Also up for the award for Best Marketing Campaign (Independent) are Blighty Antiques in Great Norwood Street and Laura Leigh Hairdressing in The Promenade.
Sarah Seccombe, from Blighty Antiques, said: "We are delighted to be in the final three for best independent marketing campaign.
"Blighty Antiques set up its shop on Great Norwood Street in Cheltenham three years ago. Our marketing campaign resulted in being named Britain's Best Antique Shop.
"At a difficult time on the high street, these awards acknowledge the hard work independent shop retailers put into their business."
Laura Leigh admitted she had not thought the hair salon would get a nomination.
"We are really excited, it's been completely unexpected. We are very proud to be nominated. Hopefully we will win," she said.
"The team are looking forward to the finals and the whole team will be there, it will be interesting to see who else wins."
The Love to Shop awards take place in Cheltenham Town Hall on February 27.
Tickets for awards cost £45 and are available at www.digital-thisis.co.uk/gloucestershire/lovetoshop/index.html.
