Students in Gloucestershire to be recognised for academic brilliance
STUDENTS from Gloucestershire will be recognised for their academic achievements in a special event this summer.
GE Aviation Systems at Bishop's Cleeve will be hosting the 2013 School STEM awards on June 25.
The School STEM awards is a joint collaboration between the Higher Engineering Apprenticeship at GE Aviation and STEM Works.
STEM Works, a Gloucestershire-based company, runs activities such as workshops to help children with their studies in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.

The awards this summer are split into three age categories, from 10-14 year olds, 14-16 year olds, and above 16 years old.
The event will start at 3pm, and will give pupils and schools the opportunity to display their projects and win cash prizes.
Individuals can win up to £100, with winning schools taking home up to £400.
