Sub-zero temperatures hit Gloucestershire

Temperatures plummeted around the county last night and into this morning.

Mercury dipped as low as -7.5C in some parts, with -7C recorded in Hardwicke and -6C in Painswick and Berkeley.

Met Office experts predict temperatures will stay below freezing this morning, at about -3C, rising to a maximum 2C this afternoon.
