Sue Ryder appeal for fundraising bike riders
THE Sue Ryder charity is encouraging people to get on their bike and take part in a 35 mile ride in and around Cheltenham this October.
This year marks the 25 year anniversary of the annual Ride for Ryder event and organisers are hoping the latest edition will be the biggest yet.
The ride has become a staple of the charity’s fundraising efforts thanks to the support of Cheltenham Touring Cycle Club.
This year also marks the charity’s 60 year anniversary.
Gents, come in to Earl's & Co and enjoy a haircut and finish, glass of whisky and a shoeshine for £18.50
Terms: Later and earlier appointments available upon request
Contact: 01242 504887
Valid until: Tuesday, December 31 2013
A spokeswoman for Sue Ryder said: “What better year to come on down and help raise vital funds for people living with life threatening and life limiting conditions?”
The ride is open to people of all fitness levels and the charity is hoping each person who takes part will be able to raise £60 to mark the anniversary.
Such a sum would be enough to pay for a nurse at Leckhampton Court Hospice for half a day.

The fee for registering online is £12 or you can pay £15 on the day.
