Slimmer Sarah Spencer wins Curvette award after 64lb weight loss
SUPER-SLIMMER Sarah Spencer is celebrating winning an award for shedding 64 pounds and dropping five dress sizes in 18 months.
Mum-of-two Sarah, 52, has slimmed down from a size 22 to a 12 after losing four-and-a-half stone. She lost a total of 54 inches all over her body since she started an exercise programme at Curves gym in Tewkesbury in March 2011.
Sarah, from Tewkesbury, has won Curves' 2012 Curvette of the Year competition for the Midlands centre region and also been named a national runner-up.
Her prizes included a photo shoot in London and a shopping spree at Littlewoods clothes store.
Sunday and Monday evenings £12.00 per head for an all inclusive meal with Indian and Thai cuisine (normal price £14.50).

Sarah, who is an early years consultant for Gloucestershire County Council, said: "I couldn't be happier with my new and improved shape. I feel so much healthier.
"I love shopping for my new size 12 figure and experimenting with the latest fashion trends. I'm now able to share clothes with my daughter, something I could have only dreamt of before joining Curves."
She added: "My children are very proud of me and my husband is delighted. My parents and brothers were absolutely flabbergasted when they saw me after I lost the weight."
Sarah tipped the scales at 15.7 stone (220lbs) when she started Curves' 30 minutes-a-time circuit training programme, and her weight was exacerbating her asthma.
She says she decided she had to get serious about losing weight when she had to have her wedding ring cut off because her fingers had become so swollen. "I had done lots of different diets and nothing had really worked.
"My asthma was bad, I was miserable, and I felt terrible every time I looked in the mirror."
She goes to Curves at least three times a week, and has reduced her portion sizes for meals, but not banned any particular foods.
"I would like to think that I have been an inspiration to anybody who wants to lose weight," she said. "I'm an ordinary mum who has a busy work life, and I hope people read my story and think they can do it too."
