Swap books for cancer fund
BOOKWORMS in Gloucestershire are being encouraged to turn over the pages for a good cause.
October will see a Bowel Cancer UK fundraising drive called the Big Book Swap and readers in the county are being urged to take part.
Deborah Alsina, chief executive of Bowel Cancer UK, said: "Hosting a Big Book Swap is a great way to bond with old friends and make new ones while raising money for Bowel Cancer UK.
"This year it coincides with our online book auction so everyone can get involved and come away with lots of new books to read."
