Switch-off saves bus firm 15% on costs
BUSES in Gloucester have slashed 15 per cent from running costs during an energy saving trial day.
Stagecoach saved five tonnes of CO2 energy in a nationwide trial on Christmas Day when 42 per cent less electrical energy was used, simply by staff switching off items they didn't need. The group has cut its total carbon impact by 20 per cent.
