JONJO O'Neill is expected to decide by tomorrow whether to run leading Cheltenham Festival hope Synchronised in the Hennessy Gold Cup at Leopardstown on Sunday.

He will make a decision after putting the Betfred Cheltenham Gold Cup contender through his paces to assess his well-being at Jackdaws Castle for owner and landlord JP McManus.

McManus' racing manager Frank Berry said: "The weather is holding things up a bit, but everything is good at the moment and hopefully we should know where we are by Thursday."
