Tales of espionage in Broadway, Cotswold with Bond girl Fiona Fullerton
TALES of espionage and the Cold War were told by a former Bond girl.
Actress turned author Fiona Fullerton was at The Lygon Arms in Broadway yesterday to do an exclusive reading from her new book, Dear Fiona – Letters from a Suspected Soviet Spy.
She is best known for her role as a KGB spy Pola Ivanova in the 1985 Bond film A View to Kill.
The book is a memoir of the correspondence between the actress and a suspected Cold War spy who had to serve 22 years for a crime he did not commit.

Fiona spoke for 30 minutes to around 20 people, reading extracts from the book before taking a question and answer session.
Anthony Thwaites, general manager of The Lygon Arms, said: "The afternoon was a resounding success.
"I'm delighted that so many people attended the reading to hear about the author's extraordinary relationship with a suspected cold war spy and experience what the hotel has to offer at the same time.
"I am thrilled to now add a James Bond actress, Fiona Fullerton, to our list of famous guests.
"Having joined the Lygon Arms just a few months ago, I look forward to hosting further events such as these in the future."
