Teen beaten after giving up his phone
TWO men are wanted by police after a teenager was robbed and assaulted in Cheltenham.
Police have launched an appeal for information after an 18-year-old man was targeted in Gardner's Lane in Swindon Village.
It is thought he was walking along the road when a man approached him and grabbed him from behind, before a second man rifled through his pockets, stealing his Samsung Galaxy mobile and his wallet.
The victim was then assaulted, suffering bruises to his face, before the offenders fled.
The incident happened at around 8.45pm on Monday.
One of the assailants was described as white, approximately 6ft tall and around 18 years old. He was of medium build and wearing a dark coloured hat and dark coloured clothing.
The other man was described as 5ft 6ins tall and of slim build. He was wearing a hooded top.
Officers investigating the robbery are eager to hear from anyone in the area on Monday evening who may have witnessed the incident.
