Teen in court accused of stealing acid and making nail bomb

A TEENAGER accused of stealing deadly acid and cyanide and making a nail bomb has appeared in court.

Blond Stuart Lee, 18, of West View Cottage, School Road, Pillowell, near Lydney, made a brief appearance before Cheltenham magistrates, facing two charges of burglary, one of making a nail bomb and one of being in possession of hydrochloric and sulphuric acid and potassium cyanide.

He did not enter pleas.

District judge Martin Brown remanded him in custody to appear at Gloucester Crown Court on October 3.

Lee is accused of burgling Whitecroft Essentials Ltd and stealing hydrochloric acid, sulphuric acid and cyanide granules worth a total of £200.

His application for bail was turned down.
