The Severn Project kicked off in April, heralding four months of creative opportunities for adults and children.

One of the main events was the Tewkesbury Festival, which took place by the river on June 20.
It featured a major new work, A Sleepwalk on the Severn, by internationally-renowned poet Alice Oswald. It was the centrepiece of the artistic programme, being adapted into a number of performances and interpretations through music, stage and street theatre, dance, sculpture, writing and heritage workshops.
The project has looked at by Dr Owain Jones, of the Countryside and Community Research Institute at the Universities of the West of England and Gloucestershire.
