Thornton given a return date
ROBERT Thornton is set to return from injury on Valentine's Day.
The 32-year-old broke his upper right arm in a fall from Western Whisky at Hereford on December 11 and needed surgery to repair the injury.
He has been told by his consultant he can make a comeback on February 14, subject to the agreement of the British Horseracing Authority's chief medical officer Dr Michael Turner.
