Throwing snowballs is 'snow' joke
Police are appealing for information on an instance of people throwing snowballs at a pensioner's house in Gloucester. Officers also want to remind the public of the dangers of throwing snowballs at windows. This reminder is following an incident that happened at around 5.40pm on Friday January 18 at a house on Oak Way. The 72 year old occupant reported that two 'youths' were throwing snowballs at his windows. The two offenders are described as between 15 and 17 years old. One was wearing a light hoody, the other a dark one. The victim saw the two run off in the direction of Byfords Road Officers would like to remind the public that throwing snowballs at the windows of houses can be dangerous and cause distress to the occupants, particularly elderly ones. Anyone with information that could help the investigation should call police on 101 quoting incident 412 of January 18.
