THUG Omar Javid has walked free from court despite attacking four police officers in a shocking drunken spree.

The 21-year-old, of Kingsholm, grabbed one PC by the throat, kicked another two and then lashed out at a fourth, telling him he would go to his house and "beat him up".

It came after he was stopped in the city centre for making pig noises at officers

He grabbed PC William Tutton's throat, kicked PC Sarah Gibbons, pushed arresting officer PC Launa Wallace, and then kicked PC Christopher Pritchard as they tried to bundle him into a police van.

But a group of around 10 to 15 people filmed the fracas outside Liquid nightclub in Eastgate Street, Gloucester, resulting in him appearing at Gloucester Magistrates Court.

"We passed two males, and one made extremely loud pig snorting noises," said PC Tutton, who was on patrol with PC Gibbons.

"I went with PC Gibbons to talk to him about his behaviour. He was looking directly at us and the noises were directed at us.

"I went to talk to him and he pushed me away and push past me, and continued with the noises."

Javid refused officers' requests to identify himself then leave the area, but grabbed PC Tutton's neck and kicked PC Gibbons.

He stamped on PC Pritchard's feet as he tried to get him in to a police van.

"He looked directly at me and said "When I get out I'm going to get some of my friends and come round your house and do you in," said PC Tutton.

Javid, of Hyde Close, denied four charges of assaulting a constable in the execution of his or her duty.

At the trial he claimed the snorts were directed at a group of girls.

He admitted standing on PC Pritchard's foot accidentally.

Police checked his documents while he sat in his car the night before the incident on September 24.

He said he felt unfairly targeted because of that, and only wanted to establish with police why they wanted his name.

His solicitor Harmal Paul said Javid was "inebriated".

District Judge Martin Brown found Javid, a student, guilty of all four charges.

"This should never have happened and would probably not have happened were you sober," he said.

Javid was put under a six week curfew from 7pm to 7am, ordered to pay £100 compensation each to PC Tutton and PC Gibbon and make a contribution of £300 to prosecution costs.

“Oh please this was his first run in with police, which was a drunken incident, and he was out numbered. I mean look at him, does someone who really looks like he spends half hour a day on his hair look like he could commit a serious crime like rape or murder? Not really.

My first run in with the police was far worse than assault, and got let off and have never before or since had a run in with the police again. I learnt my lesson, probably like this young man will have done.”

“raidermonk, or whatever your name is. Matt1006 does'nt beat me to any comment because i dont feel the need to comment on every story. The bloke's clearly got delusions of grandeur and obviously loves the sound of himself. I reckon if he was an ice cream he would lick himself!!!!!
He patronise's or shoots down comment after comment and is tedious. And you sound just the same. Grow up? Interesting that. I'm just expressing an opinion, ONE opinion. Not 7 or 8 a day. And you're belittling it because you don't agree.............wonder who that sounds like.”

“Getting ******ed is now accepted as an excuse in a court of law to get away with violent disorder,in fact late last year four muslim women beat up a woman while intoxicated and the judge involved let them get away with a bit of community service.
I think it's more to do with the fact that these criminal acts are carried out by muslims and weak judges too wary of treading on eggshells.”

    “ryan79

Just be honest, you're annoyed that Matt106 beats you the comment on stories you would like to comment on, then says what you think but in a way you could only dream of!

    Grow up.”
