Thunder and lightning make way for glorious sunshine in Gloucestershire
Thunder and lightning struck in parts of Gloucestershire as heavy rainfall soaked the county on Saturday afternoon.
People who had been out enjoying some Autumnal sunshine throughout most of the day had to scurry for cover as a thick grey blanket descended shortly after 4pm.
However, the clouds parted within an hour to make way for glorious evening sunshine.
The topsy-turvy conditions are set to remain during the night and on into Sunday when sunny spells will be interspersed with storms.
