Tim Jennings' inquest opened
An inquest was opened today into the Tim Jennings' death following an alleged assault in Cirencester.
The 25-year-old, of Arlington, near Bibury, died at Frenchay Hospital Bristol on July 2, after being transferred from Cheltenham General Hospital for an operation at the head injuries unit.

The coroner heard the Tim had been injured in an incident in Market Place in the town at 1.40am on Saturday June 27.
Paramedics found him unconscious and he was taken to Cheltenham General.
Doctors there liaised with the specialist neurosurgery unit at Frenchay Hospital at Bristol and on June 28 he was transferred there for an operation.
Following this, the inquest was told there was no progress, and after consultation with his family, treatment was stopped.
Mr Jennings was identified by his parents Mark and Kim Jennings.
Home Office Pathologist Dr Derek James carried out a post mortem examination at Cardiff and said the cause of death was an injury to the head.
The inquest was adjourned to a date to be set.
This week, two 18-year-olds appeared at Bristol Crown Court via video link from HMP Gloucester charged with manslaughter.
They were remanded in custody until their plea and case management hearing on November 9.
