Tinsel-decorated horses at children's hunt
CHILDREN of all ages and ponies of all sizes gathered for their annual New Year's Day hunt today.
Beaufort Hunt Pony Club's annual fixture regularly attracts around 70 riders aged from five upwards, and their steeds, decorated with tinsel at Chavenage near Nailsworth.
"They had very good weather for it which was great because there is always a huge turnout for this event which is one of the biggest in the country," said spokeswoman Jo Aldridge.

“Lordgagas1: Where I'm from (where the Huntmaster is quite accurately referred to as 'Dick by name, dick by nature') there's no kill on the Children's Hunt. It's more of a ride out with hounds. Not that I approve of hunting with dogs, you understand, but as a farmer's daughter it's just something I was brought up with, along with the realisation that there are humane ways to dispatch the verminous fox.”

i hope there are pictures of foxes that are "accidently" torn to pieces, when the dogs get hold of them”
