Title-holder Rock On Ruby takes on eight in Champion Hurdle at Cheltenham Festival
Rock On Ruby will face eight rivals when he makes the defence of his title in the Stan James Champion Hurdle on the first day of the Cheltenham Festival on Tuesday.
Trainer Harry Fry's charge, who will wear blinkers for the first time, faces a strong challenge headed by 2011 winner Hurricane Fly, 2010 winner Binocular and Zarkandar.
The other runners are Balder Succes, Grandouet, Cinders And Ashes, Countrywide Flame and Khyber Kim.
Frost covers have been put on the course at Prestbury Park, where the going has been described as soft.
Sunday and Monday evenings £12.00 per head for an all inclusive meal with Indian and Thai cuisine (normal price £14.50).
