On Toast has opened in Matson
A NEW café has popped up in Matson, serving up toasted sandwiches.
On Toast opened within The Gateway, a community centre in Matson Avenue, on Saturday.

"Good food and people go together," said Mark Gale, of Gloucester Gateway.
"On Toast has come together with community groups in Matson and Robinswood to create a unique community food co-op.

The venture is supported by several partners including Together In Matson, Redwell Young Peoples Centre, Matson and Robinswood Residents Group, GL Communities, and Gloucestershire Gateway Trust.
It's the second On Toast in Gloucester, after the one at the Docks.

“Gingertrish, people go to restaurants not for the food ( unless Michelin is involved ) but for the social occasion. This is a takeaway in a residential area with high unemployment, providing simple snacks that anyone can make for themselves for a lot less money.
Buy a toaster.”
