Tory MP looks flush as he spends a penny in pub loo
LANDLORD Ken Dickens is hoping his pub’s new loos will persuade customers to spend more than a penny.
Mr Dickens of the Star Inn in Whiteshill, Stroud, has just added spick and span ladies and gents to his offerings of real ale and rugby and roped in customer Neil Carmichael MP to officially open the toilets.
After cutting a length of toilet roll, instead of ribbon, Mr Carmichael said he was delighted to support the continuing development of a very good pub.
“It was also a well attended evening,” he said.
