Traders come far and wide for Victorian market
DELICIOUS deli food, perfect pizzas and carefully crafted cupcakes were just some of the treats on offer at Gloucester Quay's Victorian Christmas market over the weekend.
The four-day extravaganza saw thousands of people descend on Gloucester despite heavy rain.
Pia Cato, from Vanilla Pod in Cheltenham, served up a selection of cakes. She said: "Our millionaire shortbread has been a winner. This is our third time coming here and really enjoy it. We get to meet our customers and dress up."
Other traders travelled from afar. Rory Nelson and his brother Charlie, from Oxford, cooked up pizzas while Christine Brown donned a classic costume on her daughter Annick's stall which sold cupcakes and preserves.
