Traffic delays for motorists between Stroud and Gloucester
Motorists faced two delays in a matter of a few miles this morning on a busy commuter road between Stroud and Gloucester.
A crash and temporary roadworks caused tailbacks on the A4173 from around 8.30am.
The aftermath of two cars involved in a minor collision near the bottom of Horsepools Hill meant only one carriageway was clear. An ambulance crew was at the scene but no-one appeared to have suffered serious injuries.
Temporary traffic lights at Whaddon, due to ongoing work by Severn Trent, caused tailbacks of around half a mile in both directions.
