Trapped woman rescued by firefighters after car crash in Gloucester

A trapped woman was rescued by firefighters after a crash in Gloucester last night.

Crews from Gloucester North and Gloucester South fire stations were called out at 11.46pm yesterday.

A car had crashed in Gouda Way and initial reports indicated a vehicle may have been on fire.

The total of 15 firefighters led by Watch Commander Wright released one adult female from the vehicle.

The patient was transferred to hospital by Great Western Ambulance Service.

Crews were on scene for an hour and confirmed no fire was invovled.
