'Trashionable' way to light up catwalk

FASHION proved a rubbish topic for youngsters at a Cheltenham school this week.

Children at Rowanfield Infant School were given the task of trawling through discarded items to put together a fashion show.

The youngsters had been given the task of using items which would usually be thrown away and turning them into clothing.

And their designer Derelict show proved a hit, with pupils and staff at the school in Alstone Lane as the "trashion" clothes were taken down the catwalk.
