Tredworth cycling hero Jamie McDonald sets a new world record
CYCLING hero Jamie McDonald has smashed the world record for the longest-ever static bike ride.
His home has been a gazebo at Gloucester Quays for the past 11 days while he pedalled like a demon in a bid to shatter the existing mark of 225 hours on an exercise bike.

It's all been in aid of the Pied Piper Appeal, which he has raised in excess of £18,000 for.
Sunday and Monday evenings £12.00 per head for an all inclusive meal with Indian and Thai cuisine (normal price £14.50).

Jamie, 26, from Tredworth, beat the record at about 4.45pm yesterday.
His dad Donald said: "It's absolutely phenomenal, I can't believe it's happened. There isn't a word big enough to describe how I'm feeling."
