Tributes paid to Cheltenham woman Rose Thomas who has died in a road accident
The husband of Rosemary Thomas has been paying tribute following her death at the weekend.
She was a pedestrian when she was in collision with vehicle in Goodrich near Ross-on-Wye in Herefordshire at around 9pm on Friday September 3.

The 72-year-old woman, from Leckhampton in Cheltenham was taken to Hereford Hospital but sadly died at 1am on Saturday September 4.
Ray Thomas has been married to Rosemary, known as Rose for 52 years, he said: “She was a lovely, kind person who never had a bad word to say about anyone.
“She was always happy and loved by everyone who knew her.”
Born in 1938, she had two older sisters and lived in Bourton on the Hill.
She moved to Cheltenham in 1954 where she met Ray, they were married at St Paul’s Church in Cheltenham in 1958.
Ray said: “Rose and I love to see all our friends and family, we have lots of nieces and nephews and now great-nieces and great-nephews.
“We also have family in South Africa and Australia and she was good at keeping in touch with them as well.”
Rose and Ray also have six Godchildren, Paul Davis, John Thomas, Robert Griffiths, Jonathan Bond, Rebecca Griffiths and Megan Gilder.
“Rose was a very happy and contented person.” Ray added, “She loved being in the garden, we loved walking, we would always walk in to Cheltenham and walk to Bath Road to do our shopping.
“Rose had had a fantastic day on Friday; we had been at a wedding reception where we met with lots of old friends and family.
“She spent the day chatting and laughing like she always did.
“I just want people to know that Rose didn’t suffer, she was laughing and joking before it happened, she was smiling right up until the end, that sums up my Rose.”
Her funeral is being held at Cheltenham Crematorium on Thursday September 16 at 2pm, then afterwards at Churchdown Club.

“A very sad story - RIP Rosemary ..... please can TIG remove these insensitive adverts that come up in the middle of these reports? this is the second story today where someone has been killed with a car involved and there is a huge used car advert right in the middle??”
